be specific

When instructing kindergarteners, it is best to be very specific.  I had just sent out a memo that teachers needed to check the restrooms because so many of the kids were urinating all over the seat and floor.  A 5th grade teacher flagged me down to tell me that he'd heard the Kindergarten teacher call a student by name and say, "CLEAN THAT UP!"  a few seconds later the K teacher was heard to say, "NOT with your SLEEVE!"

Always be specific.

My husband gave me a house for Christmas.  Yep, it was a surprise.  Yep, I love my house.  Yep, I love my husband.  Yep, I know I'm blessed.

I recommend "The Great Debate" with Denzel Washington.  I would show it to my teens at school, but they threw in a sex scene.

HUH???????????

Remember the woman in Plano, TX who cut off the arms of her daughter to "save" her?  The baby died.  This is the church she attended.

Tommy refuses to let me read this to him.  I did anyway even though he was trying to shut the door on me.
